Civil Air Patrol

Q13: How can I get involved in our Emergency Services mission?

To answer this week’s question, I have created two .pdf slide show files. If you email me a request, I will send them to you. I am unable to place them on a website at this time. E-Mail msaile1@att.net.
The first one is titled How to Get a General ES Qualification rating. It shows in detail with screen shots of what you need to do to obtain a General ES rating. There are also tips on personal computing that can be applicable to other topics besides this week’s question. This information is applicable to both cadets and senior members.
The second presentation is divided into section a and section b. It is titled How to get an Advanced ES Specialty Qualification Rating. There are additional tips on personal computing that may also prove useful to you.

The presentations were made using internet browsers Windows Edge and Windows Explorer using Windows 10. There will be similar features if you are using a different operating system or internet browser. The actual presentations were made using PowerPoint 10 and saved as Adobe .pdf files.

The Face 2 Face session held last Saturday in Lansing went very well. We will be publishing the slides from that presentation soon. The next Face 2 Face session will be held in the Lansing area on January 13. More information on that will be published later.

If you have a question you would like to suggest for next week’s topic, please email me at msaile1@att.net.
